Welcome! Regular Guy Homilies are weekly spiritual reflections on Catholic Sunday Mass readings, along with articles about inspiring saints and spiritual topics from a regular guy's point of view.

Regular Guy Homilies is not a religious organization, and content creator is not a member of the clergy.  Blog content is created by a Catholic layperson and is designed to share my personal reflections and perspectives on Catholic readings.

About the Regular Guy

This regular guy loves Catholicism, having converted from being an Evangelical Protestant in 2005. I am married to an awesome wife, and I have four amazing children. I studied many different subjects in my undergraduate years, my favorite of which was Religious Studies. I've had many spiritual and writing mentors through the years, and my spiritual journey has been a long and winding road. I started this website from a calling to reflect and write about spiritual matters from a "regular guy" perspective — that is to say, a Midwest USA Dad who works full-time and tries his best to love and serve God and my family. I dedicate these pages to my favorite saint, Saint Joseph — foster father to Jesus, and husband to Mary. I love him as the patron saint of fathers, families, and workers.
